3.  A Collective Bargaining bill in the legislature (BreslinS5204/CanestrariA4301) moved forward but has not yet been passed. MSSNY’s Governmental Affairs Division is confident that, ultimately, the bill will be passed in our favor. This bill would permit physicians, for the first time, to come together to collectively negotiate with health insurers. Physicians are urged to keep up the pressure on our legislature to pass this bill.  Please contact, not only your local legislators, but also key members of the Assembly and Senate, such as— John Sampson 718-649-7653/518-455-2788, Sheldon Silver 212-312-1400/518-455-3791, Jeffrey Klein 718-822-2049/518-455-3595 and Denis Farrell 212-234-1430/518-455-5491.

This Legislation needs your opinion to be heard!  (If not you, who?)
