The Medical Society of the County of Queens (“MSCQ”) and The Academy of Medicine of Queens County (“AMQC”) provide this website at no charge as a service to our members and other Internet users with the express condition that these users agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this Terms of Use Agreement (“Agreement”), which is a legal agreement between you and MSCQ and AMQC. By accessing or using this website, you expressly agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. You acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to comply with the terms and conditions stated in this Agreement. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions, please do not access or use this website.
MSCQ and AMQC reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time in their sole discretion and without notice. Any such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified agreement. Your continued access or use of this website constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions stated at the time of access or use.
2. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, MSCQ and AMQC make no warranty that this website will meet your requirements or that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error free; nor does MSCQ and AMQC make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from the use of this website or as to the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through this website, including, without limitation, information about physicians, health care providers, or any other professionals provided in this website, further including without limitation, in the ‘MD Search’ area of the website. If you become aware that any information displayed on this website is inaccurate, please notify MSCQ and AMQC promptly so the matter can be investigated and corrected, if necessary.
You understand and agree that any content downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of this website is done at your own risk and that you will be solely responsible for any damage done to your computer system or loss of data that results from the download of such content.

You acknowledge and agree that all materials and information displayed on this website, including but not limited to all design, text and images (“Content”), are the property of MSCQ and AMQC and Core Data Center, Inc. (“CORE”), or its suppliers and contributors, and are protected by copyright, trademark, service mark, trade dress, patent, trade secret or other intellectual property rights and laws. Such Content may not be copied, reproduced, transmitted, displayed, performed, distributed, rented, sublicensed, altered, stored by subsequent use or otherwise used in whole or in part in any manner without MSCQ and AMQC’s prior written consent, except that the user may make such temporary copies in a single computer’s RAM and hard drive as is necessary to browse the website, and that the user may produce one permanent printout of each page of the website (unmodified in form, with a copy of this Terms of Use Agreement attached) to be used by the user for personal and non-commercial uses which do not harm the reputation of MSCQ, AMQC or CORE. The use of any Content for a commercial purpose, without express written consent of MSCQ, AMQC or CORE, its suppliers or contributors, violates MSCQ, AMQC or CORE, its suppliers or contributors’ copyrights, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights and may be a violation of federal law subject to criminal and civil penalties as prescribed by law.
With respect to your use of this website, you agree not to engage in any conduct or action that is prohibited by law or violates any country, federal, state or local laws, including without limitation, those pertaining to such areas as libel, slander, defamation, harassment, invasion of privacy, tort, obscenity and indecency.

Individuals or organizations choosing to access this website from other locations do so of their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
11. The waiver by either party of a breach or right under this Agreement will not constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach or right. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from the remainder of this Agreement, which will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
